Nathaniel Avila was born in Dallas and was raised in San Antonio. He gained his love for film making in middle school as he won the Winston Film Festival on his first try. He was then diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder and spent most of his film making experience reflecting on the effects of anxiety and depression. He's had his films screened in the Texan Panhandle, Dallas, and San Antonio.
