Nicole Joy Tan
Nicole was born in Singapore and raised in Melbourne, Australia. At a young age she danced with the Australian Ballet, being in their associated program for over 8 years. There, she danced in many of the company's productions including the company's Madame Butterfly, The Nutcracker and the Royal Ballet's tour of Swan Lake.
Her skills in improvisation subsequently landed her in Chris Lilley's 'Summer Heights High'.
She was also accepted into second year at The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), but left to play a lead role in the Disney show 'As the Bell Rings.'
She is highly skilled in many areas of dance including jazz, character, contemporary, hip hop, modern and classical.
Nicole has also been classical trained vocally, with a mezzo-soprano range.
