Nikkesha
Nikkesha is an Indo-Canadian actress, who is actively working in the Indian content industry. From commercial and fashion modelling to acting in music videos, web series and feature films Nikkesha has done it all. She speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi and Gujarati fluently and is even a pro at multiple accents.
In her formative years, Nikkesha was actively part of a dance troupe that competed around the world. After training in Kathak, jazz, ballet, Bhangra and Bollywood contemporary, Nikkesha began her career as a dance instructor at Rangeela Dance School in Vancouver, British Columbia. Modelling was something that happened to her by chance, but once she began, she went on to do over 50 commercials for various brands like Coke, Loreal, Icici, Axis Bank, Myntra, Amazon, Kenneth Cole, Accessorize, Cadbury, Sunsilk, Dabur, Bata and many more.
While pursuing her career in dance and modelling, Nikkesha also took several acting courses at multiple acting schools. She has formal training from Vancouver Film School, John Casablanca and Roshan Taneja'film Institute.
In 2015, Nikkesha starred in the Canadian award-winning musical, 'The List'in which she played 56 characters as a solo artist. Her work on stage has also led her to produce the play, 'Is It Business Or Is It Love' at the prestigious NCPA theatre in 2016. Nikkesha also enjoys moonlighting as a producer and director and has even worked as the Executive Producer on the film Lucky Man, as well as directed ad films for brands like- Famosa Pizzeria, Kenneth Cole, Swiss Army, Myntra, Lifestyle, Champion Sports name a few. One of Nikkesha's most recognised works is her role as Amaal on the web series Haq Se,' the Indian adaption of the award-winning novel Little Women. She's also been the lead of the Telugu language film 'Missing Search Vs Revenge' which was critically appreciated and got her several accolades for her performance.
Nikkesha also consistently features as the lead in various music videos in India's most popular music industry- the Punjabi music industry. She has a record of being the most successful female model with over 10 hits that have crossed a whopping 300 million views.on social media, Nikkesha actively works with brands in the capacity of an influencer in multiple languages.
She has also been selected as the cover model for over 10 magazines and starred in over 100 print commercials. In 2022, Nikkesha began her passion project and first entrepreneurial venture with her own clothing brand that retails at Nikkesha Mesmerise.
Nikkesha is also an event industry favourite and is often brought in as the master of ceremonies for brands like Taj Hotels, Uber, Somani Tiles, Coca-Cola etc. In 2011, she was the host at the premiere of Azaan and Shahid Amir's fashion show which took place at the India Pavillion at the Cannes Film Festival.
