Nina Transfeld
Having acted in lead and supporting roles in several feature films alongside multiple Academy Award and Emmy winners and nominees, Nina Transfeld has developed a wide range of characters, in both dramatic and comedic movies. Originally from Germany, she came to the United States at 17, where soon thereafter she met critically acclaimed filmmaker/bestselling author, Kenneth Del Vecchio. Mr. Del Vecchio began casting Nina in small supporting roles, gradually increasing her presence in his films. Ultimately, she landed lead roles in The Life Zone, The Grand Theft and Snapshot. Through these numerous movies, she has played opposite several standout actors, including Academy Award and Emmy nominee Robert Loggia, Lindsey Haun ("True Blood"; Broken Bridges), Michael Pare (Eddie and the Cruisers), Joyce DeWitt ("Three's Company"), Martin Kove (The Karate Kid; Rambo), and Charles Durning (2-time Academy Award/4-time Golden Globe/9-time Emmy Winner and Nominee).
Nina Transfeld has established herself in a producer capacity, serving as a co-producer for several films. She also is Vice-Chairwoman of Hoboken International Film Festival. In addition, she is a professional singer and musician, with pop-rock songs in multiple films.
