Oghenekaro Itene was Born in Benin City a Town in Edo State, south Southern Nigeria, to an Accountant Father and an Agriculturist/ Fashion Designer Mother. She is a graduate Of University of Benin. Oghenekaro is the youngest of Six children, she quickly learned to express herself through performance. Her first encounter in Acting was at the age of eight (8) when she joined the Drama club in her primary school. Her hobbies include , Singing, Travelling, Cooking. Oghenekaro Itene made her acting Debut in 2013 when "Shattered Mirror" A feature film Directed by Lancelot Imasuen Oduwa, was released in Nigeria. Her riveting Performance as Reverend Sister Onyinye announced Oghenekaro Itene as one to watch out for. With a brilliant Performance as Simi in "Lincoln's Clan" Drama series produced by Total Recall/ content Africa, A pan Africa Project, shot in South Africa in 2014; Oghenekaro Itene Proved to critics that she had the requisite acting chops. Her original Plan was to work on one or two film projects and concentrate on her Company Kadia Makeovers as a makeup Artist. So, she stayed from the world of Acting for a little under one year, until the yearning to do what she Loved most won her over. In 2015 she made her come back when she was landed with a role in an Mnet Africa series "Tinsel" , as the wedding Planner. On the African screen, Oghenekaro Itene would deliver another emotionally gripping performance, this time as Sonia in the feature Film "Glass House" by Africa Magic Original Films /Mnet Production which was released in 2016, followed by another Feature film, "The Prodigal" which she played the role of Tessy. In 2016, Oghenekaro landed a role in her first Big screen Movie "Esohe" Directed by Charles Uwagbai. she played the Role "Itohan". A very challenging role where She needed to gain some extra pounds . Oghenekaro Itene just completed a tour in USA where The movie "Esohe" was premiered in Different States. "Esohe" has just been selected to screen in Nollywood Travel festival in Toronto and will be released in cinemas later this year in the USA, U.K., Europe and Nigeria.
