Oksanna Romanov
Oksanna is a multi-dimensional artist, whose passion is expressed through acting, producing, art, singing and songwriting. With the intention to utilize the creative energy of performance as a vehicle for transformation, Oksanna infuses this spirit into all areas of her life.
As a child growing up in Ukraine, Kiev, Oksanna was being groomed for a life as a professional ice skater. Her training regiment included dance classes, and it was here that she discovered her love of dance. Rapid success followed. Within two years, Oksanna became Principle Dancer of the Therpsihora Dance Company directed by Natalia Chapkis. As lead dancer, Oksanna was a dance partner of Greg Chapkis ( founder of Chapkis Dance Family worldwide). She also taught classes and developed her unique fusion-style choreography. Expanding her vision, Oksanna formed her own dance company, Victoria. She served as an artistic director for two years. As an actress, Oksanna performed in the famed Kiev Theatre, with leading roles including Cinderella and Snegurochka. During this time she also sang with Area Cwear, a well respected vocal group.
Upon moving to New York, Oksanna continued her dance performance specializing in Latin Ballroom. She also studied with the Stella Adler Conservatory, TVI, and coached privately with long-time friend and mentor Vinnie Vella.
After her appearance on America's Got Talent, which brought her to Los Angeles, Oksanna continues to expand her message. Oksanna became an Academy Level Kundalini Yoga Teacher and created Star2Star yoga training that focus on discovering and developing individual gifts. As life and love move all things toward their greatest truth, Oksanna seeks the ever-changing forms of expression to activate this conscious principle.
