Olga Kalashnikova
Olga Kalashnikova is an American actress born in Belarus. She has a degree in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied theater for social change and improvisation with Cort Worthington. She is fluent in Russian, and is proficient in Eastern European and European accents.
She has studied acting at the renowned Scott Rogers Studios in Honolulu since 2011, and trained in Meisner with LA-based Iris Klein. Since then, Olga has worked on national and international commercials, including Disney, Fuji, and Ford, on multiple award-winning short films, TV series, features and theatrical productions.
She played a lead in "Angel By Thursday", a family drama filmed in Hawai'i, now released across multiple online platforms including Amazon. For this leading role as Julia Denis, an attorney based in Berlin embarking on a trip to Hawai'i in search of her long-lost mother, Olga won "Best Actress in a Feature" award at the Northeast Film Festival 2021 in New Jersey.
She co-produced and acted in a short film entitled "Chekhov's The Proposal", which premiered at the North Hollywood CineFest 2021 and won "Best Acting Ensemble" at the Indie Shorts Awards in Cannes, France.
