Olivia-Diane Joseph
Olivia-Diane Joseph was born in Grand Rapids, MI and moved all over the US with her musician father and her creative mother who made strides in the medical world as a polysomnographer. Liv ran track and field for the University of Oregon, and sang in countless bands before going off to become a teacher in the Bronx, NY, where she started a vocal music and stage performance class that brought her back into the world of the stage. After a hiatus from teaching to start her family of three kids, she returned to the theater with Debbie Allen's Twist: An American Musical in Atlanta, GA. She later moved her family to Los Angeles, where she dove into Debbie Allen's world of music, dance, stage and television, landing a recurring co-starring role on Grey's Anatomy.
Olivia has written and directed several independent projects, including powerful, thought provoking documentaries, and continues to evolve as a creative heart and mind. Her passion is to bring her love of sports and music into the narrative world of the screen via her writing and documentaries.
