Omkar Potdar

With 14 years of experience in the Indian media, Omkar Potdar has directed and creative directed non-fiction/unscripted content for many leading TV and digital OTT platforms in India. From being the Reality Director on numerous seasons of format shows like Fear Factor India, India's Got Talent, Master Chef, Dancing with the stars, to being the Director and Creative Director on Amazon Prime Video's Sons of Soil - India's first sports follow docu series, he has a vast experience in creating a variety of unscripted formats in the factual entertainment space for leading platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar and Sony Liv. An Avid traveler, adventure junkie and a mountaineer himself having climbed mountain peaks extensively in the Himalayas and around the world for over a decade, Omkar then shifted to purely concentrate on creating and producing a variety of unscripted formats, specializing in series based on extreme reality, adventure, mountaineering expeditions, off-beat travel, sports, etc. He also has the expertise of working and co-coordinating with international crews having worked with them extensively for shows in countries like South Africa, U.K, Spain, Argentina, Tanzania and Nepal to name a few.
