Owen Asztalos
Owen Asztalos started acting professionally when he was just 3 years old performing in live theatre and commercials. Owen's first feature was the raucous comedy, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, where he played the well-intentioned, albeit naive 'Rowley'. Owen has appeared on several television shows including Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Netflix), Shades of Blue (CBS), Jessica Jones (Netflix) and The Flight Attendant (HBO Max).
After a grueling audition process, Owen Asztalos landed his first lead in a feature as 'Young J.D. Vance' in Netflix/ Imagine Entertainment's Hillbilly Elegy. Of the experience, Owen says "I can safely say that working with Ron Howard has been the most incredibly experience of my entire life. To have the privilege of coming to set everyday and watch a man who's made 70+ movies, ridiculous. He's a genius and the best at what he does, hands down. I'm super grateful for the entire experience, I couldn't have asked for a better mentor nor a better role."
Owen's other passions include traveling with his ice hockey team and playing guitar.
