Ramon Nuñez
Ramon Nuñez was born on September 25 in New York City & grew up in The Bronx. He is the youngest of four siblings. Both of his parents are of mainly Dominican descent and Spaniard ancestry. His father is a landscape & sprinkler designer. His parents split when he was a toddler and his mother, a nurse, raised him as a single parent.
Ramon was raised by his mother, older brother Darrin, and his extended family during his childhood. He focused mostly on his schoolwork, which left little time for any social activity. This resulted in him spending many hours by the television and was quickly exposed to the film industry. Ramon's early influences were Robert De Niro, Johnny Depp & mostly Shia LaBeouf, whom he discovered by watching the hit Disney series "Even Stevens," and felt inspired by his acting performance.
As a child he experimented with a digital camera, creating shorts and skits for the internet. He started submitting himself to schools as well as casting calls with talent agencies in hopes of turning his dream into a career. Ramon continued to explore other passions at Riverdale Kingsbridge Academy (RKA), where he earned the nickname of "The Voice of RKA" after emceeing several school events. He moved on to SUNY Westchester Community College and was featured in multiple student films. Ramon later signed with his first agent, which led him to new opportunities within television & film.
His television debut started with the CBS series Bull (2017), portraying a professional eSports video game player. Ramon also played a thief in the Fox series Gotham (2017), and landed his first film role as Jason in First Reformed (2017), where he worked opposite Ethan Hawke and under the direction of Paul Schrader. He enters 2020 with a role in the Apple TV+ series Little America.
