Roxana Mares

Roxana Mares grew up in Bucharest, Romania, and moved to Toronto, Canada at the age of 14. Coming from a background in health and wellness, as well as anthropology, she pursued her interest in filmmaking with her first documentary, The Healer's Dream, shot in Nepal. The Healer's Dream brings together many of her passions as she uses the powerful medium of film to broach topics of holistic healing, climate change, greed, and disinterest from new generations.
