Rozemyn Afman
Rozemyn born in Amsterdam is a Dutch, award-winning filmmaker, and the daughter of legendary film financier Frans Afman. Growing up she spent her time between Amsterdam and Los Angeles.
Rozemyn studied Documentary and Visual Journalism at the International Center of Photography in New York.
Upon hearing the news of her father's terminal illness, she decided to document the last few months of his life and tell her father's extraordinary story. Rozemyn's debut documentary Hollywood Banker (2014) premiered at the Netherlands Film Festival, was critically acclaimed, and has been released in multiple international territories.
Alexander (2017) played at several film festivals and was nominated for best short documentary.
Rozemyn is passionate about people and takes a special interest in remarkable characters and their life journeys. She believes in the power of collaboration, so she takes pride in her relationships with her subjects and talented people in the film industry.
