Val Victa
Val is the fourth child of popular Filipino character actor Augusto Victa and Connie M. Miranda. He considers his father his greatest"acting influence" and mentor, having trained him to compete in various provincial and region-wide Declamation & Oratorical contests since the early age of seven. Val held the prestige of being the Provincial Champion throughout his elementary and high school years.
His first "break" as an actor was a mainstay role in the Filipino hit soap-opera "Annaliza" where he played the role of "Ronnie" for eight years. That led him to become quite known throughout the country. He was Nominated as Best Supporting Actor in the 1995 Metro Manila Film Festival for his role in the movie; "Huwag mo'ng isuko ang laban!" where Val played "Mr. Cheng".
Val was first seen internationally in the 6-hour HBO mini series "A Dangerous Life" (1987) He is an accomplished radio drama talent. He also received outstanding reviews for his portrayal of "Jim" in the Chancel Repertory play; "Snapshots and Portraits" (1998)
In the Philippines, Val is widely familiar as "Atty. Fidel Dioquino" in the TV series "Valiente" which lasted for six years as the top-rating multi-weekly TV show in the country from 1990 to 1996.
in May of 2014, Val migrated to United States and now resides in Los Angeles
