Valmike Rampersad
Valmike was nominated BEST ACTOR at both London's Unrestricted View Film Festival and also at New Renaissance Film Festival for his lead role in award-winning domestic violence film 'Padlock'. He plays the protagonist in award-winning Hollywood feature film 'Bazodee', which was shot in the Caribbean and directed by six-time Emmy nominee, Todd Kessler. 'Bazodee' was nominated Best Feature, TTFF and received it's red carpet premiere in Times Square, New York. It was released nationwide in the U.S. and Canada at Odeon cinemas.
Valmike graduated with distinction from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, England. He has since acted in TEN award-winning films which includes playing an assassin and son of BAFTA nominee, Art Malik, in 'Hotel' (semi-finalist at the Academy Awards, winner Best Drama, L.A. International Festival) and the lead, a manic depressive, opposite BAFTA nominee Saeed Jaffrey in 'Open Secrets' (winner Best Film, Buffalo-San Film Festival). He has acted in several other Hollywood features including 'The Exquisite Continent' by Emmy Nominated Director, Stephen Gyllenhaal ('Losing Isaiah') and 'Radio Mary' by Sundance award winning director, Gary Walkow.
Valmike completed 125 Episodes as the lead in SKY TV British drama series, 'Cloud 9', which also aired on Virgin TV and Zee. He starred in Brit Indie feature 'Meet Pursuit Delange' alongside Jason Flemyng, Colin Salmon and Peter Bowles.
Valmike divides his time between London and L.A.
