Verica Nedeska
Verica Nedeska (born August 8th 1978 in Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia) has graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje and holds an MA degree in applied arts from FAMU Prague. The remarkable artistic talent has made her one of the most engaged theater and film actresses already during her studies. Her biography entails cooperation with some of the most renowned theatre directors such as Slobodan Unkovski, Vladimir Milchin, Ivan Popovski, Nikita Milivojevikj, Zoja Buzalkovska, Dean Damjanovski and movie directors Damjan Kozole, Rajko Grlic, Ivo Trajkov, Darko Mitrevski, Vit Pancir, Jiri Adamec, Karel Smyczek and many others. At the same time she continuously takes part in projects with young and prospective directors like Tamara Kotevska, Hanis Bagashov, Dina Duma, Dora Sustic, Radovan Petrovic and others. She has portrayed many appealing theatre and cinema characters. Her latest roles are the ones of Snow White in the feature film "Snow White Dies at the End" directed by Kristijan Risteski, and the one of Iskra in the feature film "Sister", directed by Dina Duma. Her latest theatre role was the performing solo entitled "I, the Victim" written by Slovenian screenplay writer Simona Semenic. She has also directed three of her five scripts, including the last short film "Vera", which was premiered at the Manaki Brothers Film Festival in Bitola. Her short film "Growing Up" was selected as one of the best FAMU movies in 2013. She is the author of the scripts for "Losers Only" and "Unfinished Story", both of which were shown at the Skopje Film Festival. "Unfinished Story" won the special jury award at the Monaco Charity Film Festival in 2012. She has also worked as assistant director and acting coach, and she has great love for poetry and music.
