Vicky Dawson
Vicky was born in Columbus, Ohio and raised in Summit, New Jersey. At 10 years old she began acting and quickly built her resume with nearly 150 commercials and numerous film and television credits. Her first television role was beside Jodie Foster, in the ABC special "Rookie of The Year". She followed that up with a supporting role in a dramatic comedy alongside Denzel Washington, George Segal and Susan Saint James. While studying Journalism at New York University, she found herself also working 18 hour days between her contract role on NBC's "Another World", playing Ray Liotta's love interest, and the NBC series "Hot Hero Sandwich, a show produced and written by a blended team of talent from Sesame Street and Saturday Night Live. Vicky then moved on to star in the iconic film, "The Prowler". She recently enjoyed appearing at an anniversary showing of "The Prowler" attended by many die hard fans of the film. The event took place in Cape May, New Jersey and was screened at one of the locations where the film was shot. Ms. Dawson spent the next two years as Dee Simpson on "As The World Turns", (CBS), alongside Meg Ryan, Julianne Moore and Marisa Tomei among others. At this point, (1990), Vicky took a break to raise her family and focus on theater where she worked as an actress or director in more than 50 productions on stages across the United States. She has received numerous nominations and awards for her roles over the years. After dedicating herself to her 3 best productions, (her kids), she resumed her professional career acting in commercials, television and films with roles in About Hope (2019), Toxicity (2020) and many shorts and festival films. Vicky recently traveled to Brazil for her supporting role as Maggie in "Amazon Queen", due out in 2021. Vicky loves the process of creating stories for people to enjoy. She revels in working with committed, professional artists and simply can't wait for each new opportunity to begin.
