Victoria Guthrie
Vicky Guthrie was born in Lansing, Michigan to Connie Malkin, a homemaker, and Tom Guthrie, a master plumber and licensed builder. She started her professional career as a model at age 12, doing fashion shows and print ads for local stores around town. At 18, Vicky relocated to New York City and adopted her professional name, Victoria Guthrie.
In NYC Victoria continued modeling and studied fashion design at the renowned Fashion Institute of Technology. Her successful modeling career took her abroad to Paris, Barcelona, Athens and Vienna, but she eventually tired of living from a suitcase and not engaging intellectually. So she returned to the Big Apple to study Law and Economics at NYU.
Of course, Victoria's creative side continued to beckon and she found her way to an acting class which she says "was like therapy for me." There she studied Meisner Technique, The Method, On-Camera, Clown/Mask, Body Dynamics, Voice and was satisfied with the challenges of blending acting craft , the psyche of a character and circumstance.
Victoria often plays alpha, sexy roles on stage and screen...favorite credits include Truvy "Steel Magnolias with "The Snarks"NYC and Virginia Noyes "It's Only A Play" at The ACC which is the oldest operating theater in the country...NYC. Victoria has multiple wins and nominations for her film work from The London International Film Festival, Indie Series Awards, Brightside Film Festival and others.
Being competitive by nature, Victoria has also excelled as a competitive ballroom dancer, dressage rider , and bikini athlete. Additionally, Victoria has a keen business sense and is a successful real estate entrepreneur and holds a Holistic Nutritionist Certification.
