Vishnu G Varrier is an Indian actor renowned for his performances spanning in Malayalam, Hindi, and Tamil cinema. A hillbilly from Kerala's Wayanad district, who lived in different parts of India through his pre-acting career in the corporate world, Vishnu's journey into acting began in theatre, where he cultivated his skills. He refined his craft at the esteemed Drama School Mumbai, laying a solid foundation for his career in the arts.
His cinematic debut came with the Malayalam film Anweshippin Kandethum (2024) starring Tovino Thomas where his portrayal of Nathaniel (Chemmachan) garnered acclaim for its depth and nuance. This success propelled him into Bollywood and Tamil cinema, showcasing his talent to audiences across different linguistic regions. Notable among his projects is Maidaan (2024) an upcoming biopic of Syed Abdul Rahim, played by Ajay Devgn where Vishnu embodies the role of Olympian Chandrasekhar Menon from Kerala. Additionally, he features in Poacher (2023) directed by Richie Mehta as Shyam and 'Trail of Assassin,' an upcoming Tamil web series helmed by director Nagesh Kukunoor.
