Vlad Udrescu
Vlad Udrescu is a Romanian actor. After graduating the National University of Drama and Cinematography "I.L. Caragiale" Bucharest, Vlad started working as a freelancer in the independent theaters in Bucharest. Here, he got to work in experimental projects, new forms of performance and drama - which repertoire theaters in Romania didn't engage at the time, like debate performance, autobiographical performance, devised theater, political theater, etc. He works also on the classical repertoire in theaters like The National Theater Bucharest, The National Theater "Marin Sorescu" Craiova, Nottara Theater etc. His international work includes: project "Europe(s)", a collaboration with the National Theater Brussels were he explored some of Romanian's social and political problems in the context of the E.U., a scholarship in Corsica from the French Embassy in Romania, participation in "The Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space", workshops with international artist like Erik Trules(USA),Armel Rousell(BEL) Ragnar Freidank(GER) or Daniele Salvo(IT) and a project in a international film.
