Vonn Harris
Vonn Harris was raised in Baltimore, MD by his mother. After graduating from Milford Mill High School, he joined the US Army and served four years. After receiving an honorable discharge, he worked as an Electrian, a skill he acquired while serving his country. Feeling unhappy with his job ,he attended Catonsville Community College with a major in Business Law. He decided to take a theater class out of boredom. After realizing that he had a natural gift as well as a love for acting, Vonn made the decision to major in Theater and later received his Associates of Arts degree from Catonsville Community College in 2007. He earned a leading role in the play "The Catonsville Nine" in which he portrayed an emotional and passionate Tom Lewis.
In 2009, Vonn auditioned for the play "Tears in my Eye" where he was selected to play one of the lead characters Shawn Wyatt's. This play was a major production that was performed at "The Lyric Opera House," Baltimore's largest Theater. He received great reviews from this performance as Shawn Wyatt's. later that year Vonn received over $1,000 from family and friends in support of his relocation to New York City to chase his new found dream of acting. Before leaving Baltimore, Vonn landed the lead role as Kingston James in "Razorblade City;" an independent film about street life that sold over 500,000 copies worldwide. In 2010, Vonn perfected his craft at the famous "Susan BatsonActing Studio.
In 2011, Vonn landed a supporting role in "Americas Most Wanted" as well as the Lead role as Mark Curry in "Celebrity Ghost Stories." Later that year he landed a supporting role in the film" All in the Game" . This film earned second place in the DC "Film Festival." To this day, Vonn has continues to land supporting roles in various films and TV shows such as "Tower Heist, Monica Z, Jamsey Boys, School Spirits, HBO Girls, The Zoo and Major Crimes plus many more TV and Film Roles.He has also finished writing two feature film scripts.
In 2013 Vonn won two Aurora Gold Awards while playing SFC Morgan in "Warrior Adventure Quest" . SFC Morgan was the lead in this production.The Aurora Awards is an international competition that recognizes excellence in the film and video industries.
