Brooke Tomlinson is an award winning Australian actress, filmmaker, writer and director. The recipient of a number of accolades including Best Female Filmmaker. Born in Melbourne, Australia to her mother Michelle, a school teacher and her father Ross, a business owner and fireman. On her father's side, Brooke is of English descent while on her mother's side, she has Italian, Irish and Scottish ancestry. She places third in a family of four siblings with two older sisters and one younger brother. Growing up in a sporty family, Brooke spent her weekends playing netball and volleyball only to discover her passion and drive for the performing arts in her early teenage years. A welcoming and exciting change that allowed Brooke to really discover her true self as a performer. Choosing a path that was a completely different direction to her siblings and past generation family members. She began to pursue her acting and performing. Dedicating her time to film and acting studies, training under some of Australia's most well known industry names which would eventually lead to her landing her first ever acting audition. Brooke Walker is a local Vancouver actress, who grew up in the West Kootenays. Brooke had always loved to act ever since she was a little girl. She was involved in her local community theatre growing up. She knew this was her true calling after being an extra and on set on the film "Bobby Jones Stroke of Genius" in St Andrews Scotland, while on an exchange for school. She then was accepted into the Vancouver Film School in 2007, and graduated in 2008. She had been awarded best actress for Vancouver Film School's 48 hour film festival.
