Daniel flashed a rambunctious creative energy at an early age when he was re-writing the endings to his favorite children's stories so they wouldn't end. Having graduated in Creative Writing and film school, Daniel's background in writing and art helped visualize his hyperactive imagination. He has since been commissioned to work on numerous projects for many genres - ranging from horror and action, to comedy and animation. Daniel started his film career working with Shane Black (Iron Man 3, Lethal Weapon franchise) on the French-inspired drama-romantic La Froideur de L'été to rave reviews, and was credited as writer. He engulfed himself in the hilariously animated world of Tic Tak n' Toe for DreamWorks Animation, where Daniel served as writer and producer for the series. After dabbling in directing for an unreleased limited series, he made his official co-directorial debut with the neo-noir-inspired dark comedy short film 2 Minutes 2 Kill. Daniel produced and edited for the ghostly television series Famous Monsters of Filmland for the legendary original monster magazine. Since then, he has joined forces with his buddy Rickey Teems II to co-write, direct and produce his first feature You're Hired! - a stylized witty comedy centered on co-workers sabotaging each other for a promotion, after being convinced their Caucasian and African-American ethnicities would impact the decision. Daniel is cooking up his next ambitious crop of projects, playing in the world of horror and thriller for television and film.

Daniel Bacon

Daniel Bacon is an actor living in Vancouver, Canada. He didn't make the decision to pursue acting until well into his twenties and studied at Gastown Actors Studio in Vancouver, where the likes of Barry Pepper and Molly Parker had taken classes. After that he took classes at The Lyric School of acting where he studied alongside Grace Park and many other accomplished Vancouver actors. In 2015 he had the tremendous pleasure of working alongside Mark Rylance and Jemaine Clement under the direction of Steven Spielberg in the Disney film The BFG. Daniel played one of the not so friendly Giants named Bonecruncher.
