Daniel DiMauro is a documentary film director, producer and editor from Brooklyn, NY. He is best known for Get Me Roger Stone (2017), a Netflix Original film which had its premiere at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival. DiMauro has worked as a producer or editor on other documentaries such as Denial (2016), (T)ERROR (2015), The House I Live In (2012), Reagan (2011) and The King (2017).
Daniel began his career at 8 years of age. Daniel tried his hand at several sports until discovering his passion through acting. His passion for acting has landed him several roles, such as the little boy in the feature film Warm Bodies, and playing Josh on stage at Just for Laugh's with Russell Peters. Other appearances include Being Human, and several commercials. Daniel has also played the role of Bert in the theatre production "All my Sons". When not acting, Daniel plays piano, sings, and of course plays video games with this friends. Daniel's younger sister Kayla, also shares his passion in acting.
Daniel Dickrell III grew up in Florida and attended the University of Florida where he majored in mechanical engineering. He received a BS, MS and PhD in the field. He worked at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM before being hired back as an engineer at the University of Florida in 2008. He teaches hundreds of students each semester, typically on camera, about engineering mechanics. It was through this familiarity with conveying information in front of a lens that he landed the opportunity to appear on the program Impossible Engineering in 2017. Since then he has gone on to appear on various educational and documentary show focusing on science and engineering.
