Daniel Genalo is a New York City based Performer, Visual Artist, Designer and Writer. Daniel grew up in the Midwest, the son of an Engineering professor father and a mother in Social and Psychological Research at the university level. Daniel began to show signs of creative talent in his drawing, writing of stories and poetry, ability to imitate and create characters, and talent in dance. In high school, he considered of a variety of creative fields, including Architecture, Screenwriting, and Fashion Design. He attended Arizona State University, earning a Bachelor's of Science in Industrial Design. With this field, Genalo cultivated the ability to creatively problem solve in any discipline. After graduation, he relocated to New York, first working as an Accessories Designer in Soft Goods and Luggage. He continued to dance alongside his career, and took a job as an Art Director. After about two years in print design, he decided to focus on performance as a career. Mr. Genalo won a major dance competition for "House Dance," which catalyzed his dance career. He subsequently worked as a dance instructor, performer and competition judge, throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. Back home in New York, an innovative talent agency Ugly NY asked Daniel to work as a model. His first bookings were for Nike and David's Bridal (a shoot with America's Next Top Model judge and photographer, Nigel Barker). Since then he has focused on working and training in acting, dance and modeling. He starred in a number of films in the 2009 festival circuit, performed on the Emmy-winning comedy 30 Rock with Alec Baldwin, and appeared on the cover of Time Out NY. Daniel continues to perform and live in New York City.

Daniel Gerroll was born in London and educated in Switzerland, Scotland and London. After studying Law and Philosophy at Nottingham University, he trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London and subsequently spent some years in British theatre arriving in the West End in 1976 in "Once a Catholic". Following a major role in Chariots of Fire (1981) in 1980, he moved to New York, where his early work garnered a Theatre World Award and an Outer Critic Circle Award. Going to Hollywood in 1987 to appear in Big Business (1988), he stayed to play a variety of roles on TV and film. He later returned to New York in order to indulge his first love - the theatre. In 1999, he won an OBIE award for sustained excellence in theatre.
Daniel Gerson, best known for co-writing Disney's "Big Hero 6" and Pixar's two "Monsters" films died February 6th, 2016 at his home in Los Angeles after battling brain cancer. He was 49 years old. A New York State native, Gerson grew up immersed in the arts and starring in musical theater performances at his high school. Gerson graduated with an English degree from Cornell University before receiving an MFA from New York University film school. After beginning his career as a staff writer on the NBC television sitcom "Something So Right," which ran 1996-1998, Gerson soon transitioned to feature film, co-writing 2001's "Monsters, Inc." with Andrew Stanton, as well as 2013's "Monsters University" with Dan Scanlon and Robert L. Baird. Baird and Gerson worked as writing partners for fifteen years, collaborating on "Big Hero 6," which won the Academy Award for animated feature in 2015. The pair were also at work on the upcoming Pixar sequel "Cars 3." Gerson was also a talented voice actor, voicing the characters of Needleman and Smitty in "Monsters, Inc." as well as Desk Sergeant Gerson in "Big Hero 6." Gerson is survived by his wife, Beau Stacom; his two children, Claire and Asher; his parents, Mary-Joan and Charles; and his sister, Jessica.
