Ethan Banville is an accomplished writer, producer, creator, and show-runner known for his work in tween and kids' television. A lifelong skateboarder, he began his writing career in Action Sports programming, on a dream job where he got to work with some of his childhood skateboarding heroes. From there he began receiving freelance opportunities on comedies in prime time and eventually landed in the kids and teen space where he's worked since 2005. Since then, Ethan has gone on to write for a long list of programs in both the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands including animation, live action, and feature film. The first show he co-created, an unannounced animated series, was green lit to series by Netflix in 2020 and drops on the platform in 2022. He is a member of both the WGA's Disabled Writers committee and LGBTQ+ committee. Due to his diverse background, Ethan has a passion for helping underrepresented voices find a foothold in Hollywood so they can share their stories on a global stage. He is a dual citizen of the United States and Canada and loves working on both sides of the border.
