A British actor of stage and screen, Eugene was born on August 7, 1974 in Hammersmith, London. Eugene was raised in Harrow, London and at the age of 12 went on to study acting at the Beck Theatre Youth Group in Hayes, London appearing in such productions as Bugsy Malone. In 1999 Eugene won a place at the now-defunct Academy Drama School based in Whitechapel, London where he studied under the late Tim Reynolds, graduating in 2001. Since that time, Eugene's resume has spanned both television and theatre with appearances on Eastenders, Casualty, Law & Order: UK plus a memorable turn on a second season episode of Doctor Who entitled School Reunion. In addition Eugene has also worked with the UK's National Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company most recently in 2013 for the American leg of their production of Julius Caesar and toured 14 countries playing the title role in a production of Othello for American Drama Group Europe (ADGE).
Eugene's first T.V. appearances were as a child actor on PBS Kids' Reading Rainbow. He appeared in PBS's live airing of Puccini's Opera "La Boheme" at Lincoln Center that won an Emmy award, as well as performing in the operas "Turandot" and "Carmina Burana" He trained and performed in the off-Broadway NY theater scene with companies like Vampire Cowboys and the Ma-Yi Theatre as well as with Sketch and Improv groups, Good Cop Great Cop and the Upright Citizen's Brigade. Eugene was chosen for ABC-Disney Diversity Talent Showcase.
