Ed Ames
Born Malden, Massachusetts on July 9, 1927 (real name Urick), Ed, Vic Ames, Gene Ames and Joe Ames were sons of Ukrainian Jewish parents and four of nine children. They were very poor but Ed attended Boston Public Latin School along with brother Joe. The singing group, The Ames Brothers, was formed in 1947 in Boston and later appeared at the "Roxy Theatre" in New York City. During their early years, they won many amateur contests and made their professional debut at the "Foxes and Hounds", a posh Boston nightclub. They went on to play at the "Chez Paree" in Chicago and "Ciro's" in Hollywood. "The Riviera", just across New York City west of the George Washington bridge, was another nightclub where they appeared regularly. Ed is still best known to audiences for his television role as "Mingo" on the Daniel Boone (1964) series on NBC. Ed also appeared on Broadway in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "The Crucible". He also appeared in the off-Broadway production of "The Fantasticks" at the Sullivan Street Theatre in Greenwich Village which ran until 2002.

From an action background, Ed began his film in career in Hollywood as an action specialist, specializing in martial arts, utility stunts, precision driving and fight choreography. After almost 30 years in film, Ed has made the transition from stunt performer, to stunt coordinator, to second unit director and main unit director. Directing credits include the number one rated "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Next Generation" series, the highly rated "New Addams Family" series and the feature film "LAPD - To Protect And To Serve" starring Dennis Hopper, Charles Durning, Michael Madsen and Marc Singer. Having doubled such notables as Lee Van Cleef, Tom Berenger, Billy Zane, Dominic Purcell, Gary Busey, Eric Roberts, David Duchovny, Michael Dudikoff, and many others, Ed has shot all over the world, and now bases out of beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. His motto speaks for itself: "I do the difficult immediately, the impossible by appointment!"

Ed Arenas
Ed Arenas has been in the film business for over 25 years. He left the world of professional consulting at Deloitte Touche after 3 years as a CPA and Small Business Consultant. He immediately became immersed in every aspect of the film industry creatively as well as "hands on". After working as a production assistant, production coordinator, earning a "best boy" crew member credit, he then became personal assistant to director Russell Mulcahy (Highlander). It was during that period where he got involved with the casting process. Ed has had the privilege of working with directors such as Oliver Stone (Any Given Sunday), Darren Arronofsky (The Fountain), Michael Bay (Bad Boys II), Jerry Bruckheimer/Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean, Confessions of a Shopahollic), Steven Soderbergh (Che), Luc Besson/Louis Letelier (Transporter 2), David Mamet (The Spanish Prisoner), David Frankel (Devil Wears Prada), John Badham (Drop Zone), Alison Anders (Things Behind the Sun), Robert Townsend (Playin for Love) to name a few. Always a champion of independent filmmakers, Ed Arenas has had the privilege to have had two award winning films go to Sundance Film Festival (2000 "Things Behind the Sun" - Allison Anders, and 2004 "Inside Deep Throat" - Brian Grazer). Also Tribeca Film Festival (2014 "Sunlight Jr." - Laurie Collyer) and most recently best film winner at the Liverpool Film Festival (2018 "Off the Rails" - Damian Fitzsimmons) Ed Arenas shares his time between Miami, New York and Los Angeles. He enjoys dwellings as well as offices in these cities and resides wherever his work takes him. Affiliation with such notable projects has allowed Ed to cultivate synergistic relationships with the more notable casting directors such as Denise Chamian, Bonnie Timmerman, Kerry Barden, Billy Hopkins, Mary Vernieu, Ellen Chenoweth, Marjorie Simkin, Roger Mussenden, Fern Orenstein, Todd Thalor, Bonnie Zane. Ed has enjoyed growth in helping build projects using his time earned relationships. Recently he has been working to quickly build package and help produce cost effective quality films using private equity which have quick turnaround in distribution.
Ed Aristone
Ed has trained at Playhouse West in Los Angeles and Philadelphia for many years. Along with past cast members James Franco and Ashley Judd, he appeared on both coasts in what is the nation's longest-running play, "Welcome Home Soldier", a tribute play to Vietnam Veterans. With a passion for smaller, independent film making, Ed has played lead and supporting roles in numerous projects including Turning Point with Ernie Hudson and Joe Estevez and Fear, Love, and Agoraphobia with Lori Petty and numerous shorts. Ed also produced several films including RED starring Jim Parrick and just directed his first film, a short entitled Password. Ed believes strongly in thoroughly researching each role and is an advocate of the rehearsal process. For his appearance in Welcome Home, playing an Iraqi war veteran, he traveled to a place called Flatworld, part of a USC research facility where virtual reality headsets are being used to heal soldiers with PTSD syndrome. The VR headsets recreate real time, war like conditions during therapy sessions. An article in New Yorker magazine was written about his experience. Ed has played several military roles in independent films and because of this experience became involved in organizations supporting those serving including Soldier's Angels. One of his favorite quotes by Sanford Meisner about acting is: "Being an actor was never supposed to be about fame and money. Being an actor is a religious calling because you've been given the ability, the gift, to inspire humanity." Originally from New Jersey, Ed is from a family of six children. His volunteer efforts include teaching adults with mental and physical challenges, helping the homeless, and is the sponsor of a child from the Ngoenga School for Tibetan Handicapped Children in India. Ed enjoys working with passion minded individuals who understand one's ego should be "left at the door" when stepping on set to engage in a collaborative process.
