Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Erich spent the majority of his life in Houston, Texas. While in Houston, he attended The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts where he studied theater/acting. He then graduated from UCLA's theater, film and television department. Erich has been acting since the age of 5 in various films, television, and commercial projects. His work on the television show America's Most Wanted helped capture parents who murdered their son. Erich is a big sports fan and has traveled extensively throughout Europe and China.

Erich is an accomplished LA-based actor, singer, songwriter, and voice-over artist currently enrolled in college with a declared major in Film & TV Production. A seasoned performing artist, Erich has been wooing crowd since he was five years old, and by the age of nine he was already singing, dancing, and acting in competitive engagements. In 2015 he moved to NYC and was immediately tapped to play Friedrich for the Broadway 50th Anniversary National Tour of The Sound of Music. Once off tour, Erich's musical abilities continued to be highlighted as he was selected as a finalist in the American Protégé International Vocal Competition where he had the privilege of singing at Carnegie Hall Stern Auditorium. Next, he was chosen as a winner in the Junior Division of the NY Lyric Opera Competition and subsequently was asked to perform on The Harry Connick Jr TV Show. In addition to performing in Tosca, Macbeth, and in multiple cabarets all over NYC, Erich was selected as a 2018 Honors Performance Series Finalist where he sang at the Sydney Opera House. He also had a 2017 Grammy consideration for his first professional recording "A Christmas Presence". More recently he played the lead role in a movie released in 2021 based on the award-winning book "Song of the Tree Frogs". Erich's first feature film "18 to Party" premiered at the Woodstock Film Festival in 2020, and he has appeared in in several other films, commercials, TV episodes, voice-overs, and national and international TV ads. Erich is represented by Innovative Artists and managed by Attentive Talent Management and is a member of AEA & SAG-AFTRA An honors student currently attending College, Erich also previously was admitted to The Juilliard School as a Vocal Performance Vocal Major in Juilliard's Pre-College program from 2019-2020.

Erich Silva was born in New York City and grew up with his adopted artist mother who was a young black woman 18 years of age named Althea Dickerson. Erich moved around the United States with Althea throughout his childhood attending various schools in New Jersey, Boston, and California until finally settling down back in Harlem, New York City where he went on to attend the Harlem School of the Arts and later the more prestigious "Fame" famous High School of Performing Arts. Althea died from Multiple Sclerosis when Erich was only 16 years of age. Erich now in his early 20s relocated to Sweden where after a concession of smaller "walk on's" he played his first serious role in the Swedish thriller Livvakterna (2001). From there he went on to play minor roles in two International features, It's All About Love (2003) starring Joaquin Phoenix and Claire Danes and Dogville (2003) starring Nicole Kidman and James Caan. He continues to actively work as an actor/writer in both Sweden and London, England.
