In 2007, Eden "Shizzle" Maimon was a teenager in the suburbs of Los Angeles, and a popular Youtuber and early social media influencer, when he was the first target of the infamous Hollywood Burglar Bunch AKA The Bling Ring, where they stole about $30,000 in cash, along with other valuable belongings. Eden has since made his story heard in several publications and documentaries, after going viral for telling his story, and backing it up with strong evidence. It should be noted that Eden's name and story was used in the Nancy Jo Sales book "The Bling Ring" and portrayed as 'Evan' in the 2013 Sophia Coppola (Bling Ring) movie starring Emma Watson. Eden has also been part of a scandal involving allegations against Jeffree Star Sexually assaulting his friend, and then offering him $40,000 hush money. (Insider Magazine) Eden has become a vocal activist for victims of infamous crimes who have been silenced.
Eden began acting at a very young age, partaking in theatre locally in Lakewood, OH and then Detroit, MI. Her conservatory training began at age 13 in the CAPA (Creative and Performing Arts) magnet school located in Livonia, MI. At the age of 18, Eden moved to Hollywood as a student of the American Musical and Dramtic Academy's "Studio Theatre" program. She currently(2011) resides in Los Angeles, acting in features, television and theatre.
Eden Marryshow is an award-winning Director/Writer/Actor from Flatbush, Brooklyn. For over a decade, Eden served New York City's Department of Education as a Paraprofessional where he taught some of New York City's most marginalized youth. Latina "Peanut" Bilbro, one of his most beloved students, would always tell him that she believed in him, she knew he was going to make movies someday. While driving to work on June 22nd 2006, Eden received a call that Peanut was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting. He finally realized how short life is and decided to keep his promise to his beloved Peanut, it was time to follow his dream... and to prove her right. Eden recently co-wrote, produced and starred in the Feature Film Bruce!!!! which garnered Marryshow the Grand Jury Prize: Best Director at the American Black Film Festival, the HBO Award for Best Film and the Audience Award at the Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival, and was nominated for Best Film at Urbanworld Film Festival. Bruce!!!! opened Nationwide theatrically in March of this year in 25 cities through AMCindependent. Eden had his Broadway debut this year as Ray Mills in the Tony Award winning play INK. She also had movie roles in American Pie (1999), The Prince of Egypt (1998) & Henry Hill (1999). She has guest-starred in many TV series. Besides being an actress, she's also an accomplished vocalist who was a member of the popular group Broadway Kids. She also sang back up vocals for Jewel.= & Michael Jackson. She attended the New York's Professional Children's School & then Harvard University, aiming to become a lawyer. However, she took a leave of absence for an exciting role. Her biggest break came when she was cast as Bianca Christine Montgomery on All My Children (1970). Bianca's the first main character on an American soap who's openly gay. Eden's earnest, poignant, sparkling, heartfelt & charismatic portrayal helped make the character become one of All My Children (1970)'s most beloved heroines in its history. She left the role in February 2005. She has moved to Los Angeles & hopes to explore other avenues in her career such as prime time & movies.
