In 2015, Jack was Co-Grand Marshal for the 77th Nevada Day Parade, which took place on October 31, in Carson City, Nevada. Nevada Day is an official State holiday commemorating Nevada's admission to the Union in 1864. Former Grand Marshals of the Nevada Day Parade include actor Clark Gable in 1951 and Co-Grand Marshals, actors Lorne Greene and Michael Landon in 1964. During 2014 and 2015, Jack performed with the ensemble cast of the "Virginia City Outlaws" Wild West outdoor live theater show. The "Outlaws" still perform several shows daily, from May to October, in Virginia City, Nevada. In 2014, Jack was pictured as a Western cowboy in the April edition of Sunset Magazine (p.66-67). In 2012, Jack co-founded the Nevada-based Old West theater troupe "The Mayfield Gang" which performed regularly until 2018 at various special events and functions. Jack is a lifelong bodybuilder and still trains five to six days a week. He also enjoys hiking and camping in the Lake Tahoe area when his schedule permits.
