James Garland Quintel, or simply JG, was born on September 14, 1982, in Hanford, CA, to Terri (nee Morris) and James Quintel. Growing up in a rather boring town, he and friends would have to entertain themselves to pass time, many of these experiences grew into influences for many episodes of Regular Show. As he grew up, he grew fond of drawing, leading him going to California Institue of the Arts (CalArt). There, he and friends compete in 48Hour completions every weekend they would throw a word into a hat, draw a word, and develop a cartoon from the word in 48 hour rushes. Two films that came out of this were "The Man From Loliland" & "2 in The Am Pm." These cartoons featured his voice works, alongside with future collaborator Sam Marin. The features included pretypes of such characters as Mordecai, Benson, and Pops. After graduating, he got an internship at Cartoonetwork, working on such cartoons as Camp Lazlo & The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. Soon enough, he was finally able to pitch what is now Regular Show, for a short lived block known as 'Cartoonstitute' when the block was dropped, Regular Show was picked up as a series.

J.G. Smith (she/her) is an actor, model, filmmaker, and performance artist. In 2022, J.G. can be seen in ads for Cannabist and Andre Champagnes. J.G. made her feature film debut in Jennifer Reeder's Lynchian high school thriller Knives and Skin (2019). Her performance as the sardonic, hustling Joanna received acclaim from critics including Richard Roeper and Stephen Dalton. One of Chicago's leading stage actors, she has performed with Lookingglass, Northlight, American Blues, Vision Productions, and the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. J.G. co-devised and produced the dark comedy variety hour MARYSHELLEYSHOW with Barbara Begley, which toured nationally and won an Audience Award at Chicago Fringe. She also wrote and produced the short film HIRE ME SPIELBERG (Official Selection, NOLA'S Hell Yes Film Festival). JG Thirlwell is a composer/producer/performer based in Brooklyn,NY. Born in Melbourne, he moved to London in 1978, then relocated to NYC in 1983, where he has been based ever since. As well as his own name, he works under many pseudonyms including Manorexia, Foetus, Xordox, Steroid Maximus, Baby Zizanie, Hydroze Plus, Clint Ruin and Wiseblood. JG also creates the musical score of the Adult Swim / Cartoon Network show "The Venture Bros" and in 2015 began scoring the Emmy-winning show "Archer". He has created several motion picture and short film scores, including the features "The Blue Eyes" and "Chuy" for Mexican director Eva Aridjis. He also created the score to Tony Oursler's new film "Imponderable", which showed as an installation at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. He has released over thirty albums. If there is a common thread to his varied musical styles, it is a dramatic intensity and an evocative, cinematic quality. Thirlwell has also featured as producer, remixer, collaborator or arranger for a wide variety of artists including Karen O, Noveller, Excepter, Zola Jesus, Melvins, Swans, Nine Inch Nails, Lydia Lunch, Coil, Z's, Nick Cave and many more. JG has completed commissions for Kronos Quartet, Bang On A Can, Thyssen-Bornemisza ArtContemporary, Experiments in Opera, Zephyr Quartet, League of Electronic Musical Urban Robots, Jeffrey Zeigler and more. Jeffrey Jacob Abrams was born in New York City and raised in Los Angeles, the son of TV producer parents. Abrams planned on going to dental school, but decided to study film at Sarah Lawrence College. At 15, he wrote the music for Don Dohler's Nightbeast (1982). In his senior year, he and Jill Mazursky teamed up to write a feature film, which became Taking Care of Business (1990). He went on to write and produce Regarding Henry (1991) and Forever Young (1992). He also co-wrote Gone Fishin' (1997) with Mazursky. Along with other Sarah Lawrence alumni, he experimented with computer animation and was contracted to develop pre-production animation for Shrek (2001). Abrams worked on the screenplay for Armageddon (1998) and co-created (as well as composing the opening theme of) Felicity (1998), which ran for four seasons. He founded the production company Bad Robot in 2001 with Bryan Burk. He created and executive-produced Alias (2001) and Lost (2004), composing the theme music for both, and co-writing episodes of "Lost". He also co-wrote and produced thriller Joy Ride (2001). He made his feature directing debut with Mission: Impossible III (2006), reinvigorating the series. He produced the hit mystery film Cloverfield (2008) and co-created Fringe (2008). He directed the Star Trek (2009) reboot, proving successful with fans and newcomers to the franchise.
