Edmonton born director Justin Brunelle has worked as an industry professional in the western Canadian film industry for more than a decade. His films have been seen around the world on television, airlines and have won numerous awards at international film festivals around the world. Justin started in the industry as an actor, then as worked on crews in the camera and lighting departments on union and independent shows around Alberta. His directing career has brought him work in the narrative film, commercial, lifestyle and documentary genres.
Justin has had an impressive career in the music industry including two ARIA Awards, APRA Song of the Year nominations, and the lead role in the Australian production of Rock of Ages; the latter earning him high praise, five-star reviews, a Broadway Australia Award and a Helpmann Award nomination. Justin wrote and starred in KURT - a live stage show that celebrated the life and music of Kurt Cobain. It debuted at the 2012 Adelaide Cabaret Festival to sell out crowds and glowing reviews.
