Jake Guy was born in Langley, British Columbia, Canada to Nicola and Randy Guy. He is primarily of Irish ancestry. He first came across acting when he played a British wolf in an elementary school Christmas play. He found his passion for acting when in high school after his drama teachers created a role for him in their production of the musical "Grease". They created the part deciding he was not old enough to play a greaser, as he was just in grade 8. He went on to play a lead role in all the musicals they put on, graduating as "Usnavi" in Brookswod's production of "In the Heights". He was also an avid member of the school's highly regarded film & television program. With his friends, he entered local contests and went on to win several awards at the BC Student Film Festival. During high school Jake began auditioning in and around Vancouver. He got his first small role in a western TV movie starring Luke Perry. After graduating from Brookswood Secondary School, Jake continued to perform professionally. He quickly got his first role in the CW's Supernatural. Shortly thereafter he went on to get a role in the CW's iZOMBIE. Jake currently lives in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
