Nancy Schreiber ASC is an award-winning cinematographer based in Los Angeles and New York.. She was the fourth woman ever voted into membership in the prestigious American Society of Cinematographers and the first to receive the ASC's President's award in 2017. Schreiber was honored with Best Dramatic Cinematography Award at Sundance for " November" and shared that award for "My America:.Or Honk If You Love Buddah ". Schreiber garnered an Emmy nomination for Best Cinematography on HBO's Celluloid Closet , was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Chain of Desire, and was also one of Variety's 10 DPs to watch. Schreiber's work in television has been seen on Starz' P Valley , the FX show, Better Things, staring Pamela Adlon.on Shondaland and ABC's Station 19, and ABC's The Family with Joan Allen and Alison Pill. She also was the Director of Photography on the HBO series, The Comeback, with Lisa Kudrow and set the look for tv pilots such as In Plain Sight, for USA Network. Schreiber still enjoys shooting the occasional documentary, including CNN Film's critically acclaimed Linda Ronstadt: Sound of my Voice , produced by James Keach and directed by her long time collaborators, Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman. She is the author of a recent non-fiction book Roll Red Roll: Rape, Power and Football in the American Heartland released in July 2022 with Hachette and received stellar reviews from the New York Times, Publisher's Weekly, Kirkus and Library Journal. She is developing a scripted series from the storyworld of the documentary and book with Producers Darren Dean and Jed Mellick. Nancy Sandra Sinatra was born the first child of Frank Sinatra and Nancy Barbato Sinatra on June 8, 1940 in Jersey City, New Jersey. Her first television appearance was with her father and Elvis Presley in 1959. She first appeared as a film actress in For Those Who Think Young (1964) and Get Yourself a College Girl (1964). Nancy appeared alongside Elvis in the musical comedy Speedway (1968). She also had a successful career as a singer with two United States chart-toppers ("These Boots Are Made for Walking" and the duet with her father called "Somethin' Stupid") as well as numerous other chart entries including the John Barry / Leslie Bricusse penned theme song to the James Bond film You Only Live Twice (1967).
