Natasha Blasick
Natasha Blasick was born in the city of Odessa, Ukraine on the Black Sea. Her first languages are Russian and Ukrainian. She grew up in a Soviet-style apartment that housed two families. She made her debut as a lead actress in the film Death of Evil (2009). She is the older daughter of Sergei and Ludmilla and has a younger sister, Marina. Natasha is the first member of her family to pursue an acting career. Life in the USSR saw Natasha wearing homemade clothes and attending Young Pioneers of the Soviet Union camp. Interested in studying English from the age of six, Natasha waited many winter hours for the most affordable public transportation to ferry her to and from her language classes. When she was 14, she and her father Sergei were visited by a UFO. Natasha studied dance, acted in many plays, and competed in several beauty contestants. Eventually earning a Master's degree in marketing, Natasha bade farewell to family and Odessa and set off on a voyage of love to marry her American husband Martin Blasick. Natasha immediately embraced both Los Angeles and the craft of acting where she studied technique with several coaches, melding the training into her own acting style. Her leading role in Notes from the New World (2011), based on Dostoevsky's Notes From The Underground screened in festivals across Europe. In The Black Russian (2013) Natasha traveled to India to shoot the title role of the multi-layered Francesca, a Russian ex-patriot caught up in a deadly game of love. Mockbuster Paranoid Activity 2 (2011) starred Natasha in a battle against an Alaskan poltergeist. She was the swimsuit winner in the Mrs. World contest and appeared as Sasha the secret agent on Days of Our Lives (1965). She also appeared in Meet the Spartans (2008) and (as herself) in Battle of the Bods (2008). She had the chance show her comedic talents doings sketches for a season of Spike TV's MDN (2004) and on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (2003). Natasha co-produced Death of Evil (2009) and Vampiro (2009). In 2012 Natasha released Live In Your World, an EP of her own brand of pop-electronica music.

Born in Surrey, UK, Natasha is a British actress and singer. She began her career in The Magic of Motown Show as Diana Ross and played the role for four years before moving to Sydney, Australia where she turned her attention to film and TV. She spent the summer training at NIDA and subsequently booked the lead in the short film, 'An Audience with Life'. After a year in Australia, Natasha made the move to Vancouver, Canada. Up and coming actress Natasha Calis stars in the NBC series Nurses which follows the story of five young nurses on the frontlines of St. Mary's hospital dedicating their lives to helping others while figuring out how to help themselves. Natasha portrays Ashley Collins, a sarcastic and witty nurse with a huge heart hiding behind a tough exterior, who will do anything to protect the people she cares about. An ensemble cast, each nurse represents a main organ, and Ashley is the live; she can take all the dirt. From a young age, Natasha has already made an impressive mark in both film and television. She stars in Sam Raimi's feature film The Possession for Lionsgate, which opened number 1 two weeks in a row and still has the second-best Labor Day Weekend Box Office of all time. Calis' performance garnered rave reviews. In 2013 Calis was seen opposite Oscar-nominated actors Michael Shannon and Samantha Morton in The Harvest directed by John McNaughton. The film centers on a young girl (Calis) who challenges the family next door when she befriends their sick son who is kept in a secluded environment, leading her to the discovery of the boy's dire circumstances. Her film credits include Donovan's Echo starring Danny Glover and Bruce Greenwood, which premiered at the 2011 Vancouver and Calgary International Film Festivals, and a role opposite Kat Dennings and Andie MacDowell in the independent film Daydream Nation. Calis started acting professionally at the age of seven in her native Vancouver, Canada. As a young child she would memorize lines and portray characters she saw on screen as a way of immersing herself into acting education. Never one to shy from self-motivation and passionate dedication, Natasha began competitive soccer at the age of four and studied dance for fourteen years; balancing three of her favorite hobbies throughout her young adult years. Within her acting career, she thrives within drama and thrillers, taking a deep dive into characters with the ability to be vulnerable and showcase raw emotion. Aside from being on camera, she has been fascinated by the creative process of filmmaking since she first began acting, and hopes to work behind the camera on day as well.

Natasha has led a busy double-life for many years as a stand-up comic and actress. Some of her more notable performances included Emceeing for headliners such as Jared Sandler, Michael Lenoci, and her sometimes Uncle, Mike Marino at the Ha Ha Café Comedy Club, as well as producing her own show, Marvelous Ms. Monday's at the Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank. She has graced the NY comedy scene too. Natasha has been described as having the looks of "a young Fran Drescher," the comedic timing of "Marissa Tomei" with the voice likeness to "Chandler Bing's girlfriend Janice from Friends!" Born and raised on the east coast, Natasha spent most of her time between Sayville, Long Island, The Berkshire mountains in Massachusetts, and New York City's west side before relocating to southern California! Natasha comes from a family of actors and creatives being the sister of actors Raffaela and Steven Capp, and the daughter of advertising creative executive Steve Capp and film director/producer Maria Capp. She is of Sicilian descent with her mother being 100 % Italian and her father being Sicilian, German, and Russian. Her paternal grandfather always said he was descended from Slavic royalty, meaning Natasha has royal blood too. Born on December 25th, Natasha's name literally translates to "Born on Christmas Day" in Slavic. Natasha is a proud graduate of The Art of Acting / the Stella Adler Acting Studio, honed her improv skills at The Groundlings in performance and writing, and spent a summer abroad in London to study at LAMDA's Summer Shakespeare program. While she continues to act, COVID has made Natasha reassess her priorities and she's decided to shift gears from performing stand-up comedy to writing comedies.
