Oliver Litondo
Oliver Litondo was born in Kakamega, Kenya. He went to university in the United States. His career which started in broadcast journalism included as correspondent with BBC and Deutche Welle. He was also anchorman for Voice of Kenya (currently Kenya Broadcasting Corporation--KBC) and anchorman for Kenya Television Network (KTN). Meanwhile, Oliver developed interest in film acting and theater. One of the major movies in which Oliver acted was the Wilby Conspiracy released in 1974, starring Oscar winners Sydney Poitier and Michael Caine. Previous to that he acted on a British movie, "The Search for the Nile in 1971. Oliver went on to co-Produce with Alakie Mboya, a hit National Theater stage production, "The Muntu", by Joe de Graft, starring Oliver Litondo and Beldina Auma in 1976. In 1978 Oliver starred in the film "The Bush Trackers" produced and directed by the late Gordon Parks, Jr. (who died in a plane crash in Nairobi on his way to a shooting location) and Gary Strieker, completed the movie after Gordon's death. In 1984 Oliver acted in "Sheena: Queen of the Jungle" Starring Tanya Roberts He also acted in "The Lion Of Africa" in 1988, starring Bryan Danahy, and the "Ivory Hunters" in 1990 starring James Earl Jones and John Lithgo. Oliver's latest movie released in 2010 is "The First Grader", directed by Justin Chadwick and starring Oliver Litondo and Naomie Harris. Oliver is very excited about the First Grader and says "more adults now go to school in Kenya since the movie was released, inspired by Maruge's (played by Oliver)courage to start first grade at age 84". Oliver loves kids and acting in a movie with so many kids was "like fish in water for him", says his wife. Oliver is married to his long time friend and confidant, Beldina Auma, a communications practitioner, former journalist, former actress (starred with him in "The Muntu") and model. They have four children. One of his daughters, Grace, is an up and coming singer, with a decent following in YouTube.

Oliver began drama classes at the age of six with The Guildhall School of Speech & Drama and got accepted to join The National Youth Theatre aged thirteen. Oliver gained a B.A. (Honours) degree at The University of South Florida & Middlesex University in Drama & Theatre Studies before training as an actor at The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. Oliver is very experienced in Radio Drama including: Dr Who, Torchwood, Bernice Summerfield and Cicero series. Oliver voices many computer games, including: Dragon Age: Inquisition, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, Soul Sacrifice & The Inazuma series. Oliver has provided his voice for audio guides in many famous landmarks, including; Buckingham Palace, The Royal Mews, The Louvre Museum and Hever Castle. Oliver lives in North London.

At the age of 2 1/2 Oliver Max begged his parents to take him to Hollywood so that he could get an Agent and become an Actor, Writer and Director. Before agreeing to any of this, Oliver's parents wanted to make sure he was mature enough to understand the commitment involved and the disappointments that come with being a young actor. So, about 5 years later when he continued to insist that Hollywood was where he needed to be, his parents finally relented (sort of). With no Agent or Manager they submitted Oliver to one breakdown. To their surprise, they received a call that casting wanted him to audition. Next was destiny intervening. Without ever taking an acting class or having an acting coach, Oliver booked the co-star role on a TV show and his parents realized they needed to learn this business but quick. You can see Oliver next in the Feature Film Sharon 1.2.3, The Short Films Metropolis II: Highway to Heaven and Home as well as the Feature Film Max Rose. Oliver has had the great honor of working with Film and TV greats such as Jerry Lewis, Kevin Pollak, Kerry Bishé, Barry Corbin, Robert Forster and several others. Oliver is a gifted student with straight A's and donates both his time and some of his earnings to Share Ourselves Families and The Project Hope Foundation. Oliver's hobbies include golf, yoga, drawing, Cello, photography, writing screenplays (he's on his 10th), and making his own short films. Oliver is a purple belt in Taekwondo with Weapons Training and has placed in numerous tournaments throughout Southern California. Besides Acting, Oliver is just a regular kid who enjoys playing with his Double Doodle Puppy Leo, and of course spending time with his family and friends.
