Always a student of the craft of acting, Rose has worked commercially and theatrically in the continental US and Puerto Rico. She has recently starred in Lionsgate's Plane alongside a stellar cast led by Gerard Butler and Mike Colter. Alongside her husband and actor, Ricky Robles Cruz, they founded the theater company Primera Llamada in 2016 for which they produced and wrote original work. Their vision was to create a safe and encouraging space for creatives while bringing quality, socially driven, refreshing work to their community. Together they also wrote, produced, and performed in their original short film Aniversario, which won the inaugural Best Short with a Social Message award in the 2022 Lusca Film Festival held in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. From a love of kids and a passion for teaching, Rose studied education. She has a Bachelor's in English Education from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and worked as a teacher and tutor to students from preschool to intermediate levels. In her classroom, Rose incorporated movement, theater, creativity, and art, and strove to instill a strong sense of kindness, compassion, and independence within her students. Along this line, Rose studied American Sign Language and believes in proper representation of the deaf and hard of hearing community. When not acting, Rose finds it hard to sit still. A lover of nature, she enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and practicing all kinds of sports: paddleboard, volleyball, archery, tennis, and baseball. She also continues to train in many forms of dance, and you can catch her dancing salsa, merengue, or bachata with Ricky at the Latin music hub.
