Though shuttling from Nigeria, Cameroon and the USA, Ruth Nkweti was born in the small town of Tiko in the southwest Region of Cameroon. She grew up with her brother and two sisters under the same rum as her mom and dad. Though she had always been writing and directing plays in secondary school, she made a career in acting in 2006. After several movies to her credit, she became a producer in 2016.
