Vishwas Paandya

Vishwas Paandya was born as Vishwas Pandya. He is a director and writer known for Baa Baaa Black Sheep (2018). As a producer he has American Blend (2006) and I Did Not Kill Gandhi (2005) to his credit. Born into a noted film family that has produced the likes of 'Namak Haram' and 'Rang Birangi', Vishwas started off his career as an actor having done over 40 television commercials and multiple TV shows. He began his writing & directorial experience with television, Episodic love stories - 'Rishtey', 'Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi Baatein with Anupam uncle' (for Zee) and then multiple TV commercials. He also directed the making of I did not kill Gandhi. From 2007, he was heading White Stripes Entertainments (division of Dil Limited) where he directed TV commercials, events, and was solely responsible for creatively developing and supervising the Hindi remake of Chupke Chupke, among other scripts where he worked with directors like Sachin Pilgaonkar, Shivam Nair, Umesh Shukla and David Dhawan. His multi faceted experience across acting, producing, writing and directing gives him a nuanced edge as a filmmaker.
