Bruce Davis
Bruce Davis hails from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he was born to Lloyd and Esther (Glover) Davis on February 13, 1963. He was primarily raised in Oklahoma, but he also lived in Los Angeles, CA, briefly after the family moved there to seek employment. He voluntarily enlisted in the US Navy and served his country from 1983-1987. He was stationed in the San Francisco Bay area aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Enterprise (CVN-65). After receiving an honorable discharge from the Navy he moved back to Oklahoma City where he was accepted into the Oklahoma City Police Department Police Academy in September of 1987. He is a 27th year veteran of the Oklahoma City Police Department and has reached the Rank of Police Lieutenant. Davis holds a Bachelors of Arts (Psychology) degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and he has study acting for film, advanced camera techniques and the Meisner Technique at the Actors Factory in Norman Oklahoma.
Davis started his Musical Theater acting career in 2004 after he was cast in the role of Judas Biggs in the new musical Soul on Fire. Davis has performed the role of Judas Biggs in several theaters throughout the country to include: the 14th Street Play house (Woodruff Arts Center) in Atlanta GA; the National Black Theater Festival in Winston Salem NC; and the Off Broadway performance at the June Havoc Theater NY. Davis has recently been cast in a principal role in several shorts, feature films and regional commercials.
