DJ Walton
DJ Walton was born in NY and raised in South Florida. He is the founder and head boxing coach of Onward Athletics in Buford, Georgia. DJ trains and manages his son, Javon "Wanna" Walton who is a highly ranked amateur boxer and actor who stars as 'Ashtray' in HBO's hit show, Euphoria. Wanna has also starred in Amazon Prime's Utopia and MGM's Addam's Family 2.
DJ made his big screen debut in 2018 as Adonis Creed's sparring partner in Creed II starring Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone. He plays the recurring role of Lucifer 78 in the hit Starz TV series Heels which is in production for the second season. DJ was cast for the role of Miguel Paez in the upcoming 2023 release of Heart of a Lion about the life of boxing great, George Foreman. The film is directed by George Tillman, Jr. and stars Forrest Whitaker. World renowned director and stunt coordinator, J.J. Perry introduced DJ to stunts in 2020 for the film Samaritan (2022) starring Sylvester Stallone. Perry brought DJ in for stunts on his directorial debut, Day Shift (2023) starring Jamie Fox and Snoop Dogg.
