Dalton Alfortish
An actor, comedian and director - Dalton Alfortish's ingenuity lies in his versatility and passion for his craft.
As fate might have it, Alfortish's journey in this world began on October 17, 1990 - at a movie theatre, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Perhaps it was his own hometown's theatrics or his family's fondness for storytelling that may have contributed to his love for the dramatic arts - but it was something he had always been sure of.
Despite having studied Finance at the University of New Orleans, Alfortish continued to pursue acting and landed his first professional role in the 2008 short film (The Zeppelin Parable). As NOLA provided to be the epicenter of major film productions, Alfortish had begun to work more steadily and starred in series of successful film and television shows such as: (22 Jump Street), (Scream: The TV Series), (The Big Short), (Jack Reacher: Never Go Back) and more. To supplement his work and bolster his natural talents, Alfortish began training in the verticals of stunts, voice-acting, commercial acting and improv.
In 2016, he took on the challenge of moving to Los Angeles to further pursue his career as well as to seek opportunities well out of his comfort zone. Following his move, he began training at The Groundlings and saw success in performing at some of LA's most well known comedy clubs. He was then given the major opportunity as a series regular of a popular children's show (produced by former Disney and Nickelodeon executives) called (Challenge Squad). While Alfortish had established his career in acting and comedy, he had another passion that he had not quite explored.
After a two year stint on the Amazon/Hulu show Challenge Squad, he started his endeavor to become a writer and director. Although the road had been full of trial and tribulation, his up and coming short film "Nowhere" will be premiered Summer 2020.
Alongside his passion for theatre, Alfortish has a love for literature and philosophy.
