JJ Pantano
JJ is a comedian, actor, singer, rapper, dancer, writer and presenter. He is a dual citizen of Australia and Italy and has a US O1 Visa for extraordinary abilities. Born in Melbourne, Australia into a family of entertainers, JJ grew up on stage regularly accompanying his parents to gigs. He is a natural born entertainer and considers the stage his second home. His first stage performance came at just 5 years of age in the lead role of the Frog Prince Continued where his confidence, fearlessness on stage and wittiness soon became evident when he started improvising mid way through the play when things didn't quite go to plan. No easy feat for a 5 year old. The audience responded in fits of laughter and JJ was hooked. At 6 he was the opening and youngest host ever of Melbourne's Kids Fashion Week and he kept the laughs coming.
It was at 7 years of age that JJ gained international attention when he appeared on the 9th season of Australia's Got Talent where he earned himself the Golden Buzzer from Shane Jacobson for his roasting style of comedy. With the video of his performance going viral overnight, the US came calling and he was invited to appear on Season 2 of America's Got Talent: The Champions. Champions is made up of 40 of the best Got Talent acts from around the world. JJ wooed American audiences and all the judges with his confidence, pint size stature and quick witted roasting style. He received legendary comedian Howie Mandel's vote of the night and big boss of the show Simon Cowell's deciding vote which sent JJ through to the Semi Finals of Champions. "When I grow up I want to be as funny as you," said Howie Mandel. "You have a star glow about you....and you are fearless for someone of such a young age" said Simon Cowell. Heidi Klum said, "You're a star!" So impressed were the executive producers of the show that they then invited JJ back to appear in the Champions Results Show giving him his own talk show segment in the style of Between 2 Ferns where he interviewed judges, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Alesha Dixon and host Terry Crews the way only JJ can.
JJ's Got Talent performances have amassed over 180 million views online and he has a legion of loyal fans and followers from all over the world. He has appeared on The Today Show, Today Extra, Sunrise, The Morning Show, The Last Laugh and has been featured in People Magazine, Funny Or Die and USA Today among hundreds more.
JJ has incredible comedic timing but is also a terrific young dramatic actor. He has an incredible work ethic and stamina for someone of such a young age and is always very professional on stage and set.
Throughout the pandemic JJ has been training extensively with various US acting coaches via zoom from his hometown of Melbourne as well as keeping his fans engaged online through his weekly JJ Pantano Show on Facebook. He cannot wait to go back to the US to pick up where he left off prior to the pandemic. JJ has many interests outside of his career and is passionate about the environment. He loves gaming, watching movies and reading.
He has released his first single and music video "They Just Don't Get It" which is available on all streaming services with new music on its way soon.
He is the youngest stand up comedian in the world.
