Judith Shekoni
Judith Shekoni has been in the industry for over 15 years. Her earlier work included included EastEnders (1985) (BBC) and the gritty Hallmark drama, The Hidden City (2002). Her acting career then took her to the USA, where she has worked on every major US network. Mike & Molly (2010) (with Melissa McCarthy, CBS), Backstrom (2015) (with Rainn Wilson, Fox), NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service (2003) & NCIS: Los Angeles (2009) (CBS), Brothers & Sisters (2006) (ABC), Damages (2006) (FOX), The King of Queens (1998) (CBS), All of Us (2003) (CW), and numerous studio and independent films.
She worked with Oscar-winning director Bill Condon on the hugely successful Twilight franchise, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 (2012), as Zafrina, the leader of the Amazonian Vampires. In 2015, she played a leading role in Heroes Reborn (2015) (opposite Zachary Levi); it premiered at the Toronto Film festival 2015, and then had a two hour US network premiere on NBC-TV. In the UK, she was seen on the BBC drama series Ordinary Lies (2015) (written by BAFTA winner Daniel Brocklehurst). She recently finished two seasons of the 10 part cable drama series Ice (2016).
