Olivia Reid
Olivia Reid was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska and began performing at the age of 3 when her mother enrolled her in ballet and tap dance classes. She loved the dance recitals and performing/getting to be on stage, which, ultimately, led to her discovery of the theatre in middle school where she danced in shows such as, "The Wizard of Oz" and "High School Musical". Through her passion of performing, she stumbled into her high school theatre department where she was given the titular role in "Anne of Green Gables" as well as other significant parts in musicals such as "42nd Street" and "White Christmas".
Consequently, she went to college to study musical theatre performance. While there, she discovered a regional CSA Casting office where she was noticed for being a good actor and charming, due to her quirky nature, on film. It was at that office that she got to work with notable casting agents, such as Matthew Barry, Ricki Maslar, and Paul Weber and, in turn, her love of acting and performing only continued to grow.
As an artist, and an actor, Olivia strives to be a vessel in telling stories. Whether it's a comedy that will make one forget their troubles, or a drama that makes one think and ponder life, it is what she believes to be the beauty of the craft and is one of the many reasons she fell in love with acting in the first place.
